Web Accounts

At UCO there are two types of web accounts. One type is a Site Account. The other type is a Developer account.

A site account contains the information for a specific web site on the server. This type of account does not identify an individual person but defines the site. It may have multiple developer accounts assigned to it.

A developer account contains the information for the individual responsible for developing, maintaining, designing, working on, etc., a web site. This type of account is assigned to an individual. And, the developer may be associated with multiple site accounts.

So, if you or your area needs space on the UCO server for a web site, you will request a site account. If you are a developer working on an existing site, you will request a developer account. If you are a contracting third party, your UCO sponsor will request the developer account.

After reviewing the account guidelines, you may submit an account request. For help on completing the account request form, check out the assistance page.
