Voice Mail Audix System

Instructions

1)
Press you Voice Mail button or dial the Audix access number:

  • Internally: Ext. 3100

  • Externally: (405) 974-3100

2) Wait for answer

3) Audix will ask you to enter your extension on the dial pad followed by a #.  
         Please enter your extension followed by a #. (Just # at your own phone).

4)
Audix will ask you to enter your password followed by a #.

  • You will not have an initial password set. Please enter #.

5) Audix will request that you record your name

  • Press 1

  • Speak you first & last name only

  • Press 1 to stop

  • Hear Audix repeat your name

  • Press # to approve or 1 to re-record

6) Audix will prompt you to establish a new password.

  • Please enter a 4 to 15 character password that would be easy for you to remember (twice)

7) Audix will inform you if you have any new messages.

  • Press 2 to get any new messages.

  • Press 0 to listen to new messages.

  • Press *D to delete messages.

                                          
Recording your greeting that callers will hear when you are not available:

1. At the main activity menu press 3 to administer your greeting.

  • Press 1 to create a greeting.
  • Press for greeting number one
  • Record your greeting.
  • Press 1 when you have finished recording.
  • Press 23 to review your greeting.
  • Press # to approve or *D to delete and 1 to re-record.
  • Press y to activate the personal greeting for all calls.


Re-Recording Your Name

1.
At the main activity menu, press 5 to change your name.

2. Press 5 to record your name...

3. Follow the instructions provided and speak your name.  Listen to your name.

4. Press 1 to record your name again if you want to change it. Otherwise, press the # key.



Message Drop: To transfer a caller directly into a users voice mail:

1. While the caller is on the line, press your transfer button (or switch hook) on your set.  This will put the caller on hold automatically.

2. Dial the Message Drop Extension, 5100, wait for the system to answer.  Enter the extension of the party you want to connect the caller directly to voice mail, press the # key.

3. Complete the process by pressing transfer again.  The caller will hear the called parties greeting soliciting for the caller to leave a message.
