Telephone Troubleshooting Procedures

- If you are having trouble with your phone or voice mail, please call
Technology Support at Ext. 2255. Or, use the
contact form to submit your information.
The Technology Support technician will create a
work order for you. Once the work order is created, it will be dispatched to
the person in charge.
- When the work order is created, the technician will provide a
work order confirmation number. That number is to be used if you have
any questions concerning your account.
- If you need wiring or a wiring estimate, please follow the procedure
above.
- The turn around for lost password, account code, and long distance code
are within 24-hours. Wiring and wiring estimate is a 2-week turn
around.
- For lost password and long distance code, send memo to: Telephone
Services Box 147. For more information regarding long distance, please
refer to the long distance page.
Helpful Tips:
- In your work order please include the following: phone
extension, the department name, building and room number, and a brief summary
of your problem.
- Please keep in mind when calling Technology Support for telephone service or repair,
that Technology Support and Telecommunications Department are in two different buildings
on campus.
