Technology Support recommends computer purchases from the following vendors. Special educational pricing is available from each of them for any faculty, staff, or students of UCO. Recommended models are listed for each vendor, followed by a general listing of recommended hardware and software applicable to these vendors. UCO strongly urges students and employees to download and install Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition via UCONNECT for their personal computers. Unfortunately, there is currently no Mac-compatible virus protection software licensed by UCO for personal use, but some form of virus protection is still recommended for Macs.

Please remember that all students and employees are subject to UCO's Technology and Network Usage Policy when utilizing any UCO computing or network resources. This includes the usage of personal computers over UCO's wireless or wired network.
