Mike Wood

Mike is the Director of Support and Operations.  He has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry.  Mike started out his career working for Intergraph Corporation located in Huntsville, Alabama.  He provided technical support and training for the VAX/VMS family of computers.  With 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer working as a NASA contractor, Mike accepted a position of Program Manager for an Engineering Services company.  Mike engineered and deployed three major Telecommunications / Data Communications companies in the Southeast and Southwest regions.  Mike served as Williams Communications Company Senior Manager of Maintenance Engineering; responsible for a national voice, video, IP network, and telemetry network.  Prior to coming to the University of Central Oklahoma, Mike served as Operations Manager for EPIK Communications in Orlando, Florida.
