Connecting on campus is easy.  Services are provided and maintained via high-speed connections to the campus network and the Internet. Additional services include wireless access, VPN access, email, and spam filtering.

... Choose a wireless card for Wireless access on campus?

Your wireless card will need to support one of the following standards:
IEEE 802.11B
IEEE 802.11G
IEEE 802.11A

. . .  Connect to the Wireless Network?

1. Using Windows, open Network Connections in Control Panel.
2. Right-click on Wireless Network Connections, and then click on Properties.
3. On the Wireless Networks tab, click Add...
4. Type UCO in the Network name (SSID) box.
5. Click Open in the Network Authentication list.
6. Click Disabled in the Data Encryption list.
7. Click OK.

All student email can be accessed via the campus portal- UCONNECT.  Faculty and staff may also access their email via UCONNECT.  Alternatively, faculty and staff may access their account via the Lotus Notes web interface.

Requests for VPN access can be submitted to Technology Support.
